Tracing the History of the Condom
Many people make the mistake of concluding that condoms are of fairly recent origin. In fact, precursors to the modern day condom can be traced back thousands of years. In fact, the earliest evidence of condom usage goes back to ancient Egypt some four to five thousand years ago. The ancient Egyptians utilized condoms to prevent the spread of diseases and infections.

If you are a woman dealing with vaginal dryness or if you are a man whose partner suffers from this problem, you may feel as if you are at a loss at times. For a man, having a partner suffering from dryness can also seem emasculating because many men associated the level of a woman’s moisture with the level of her excitement.

The use of condoms is currently one of the most popular and widely adopted forms of contraception. Free Condoms at the Kern County Fair in California
The annual Kern County Fair and Parade in California was recently subject to a confrontation of ideas. Held sometime in October 2007, the fair was attended by people from all over Kern County who came to celebrate and have a good time together. There were all kinds of people attending, and all kinds of groups and organizations hosting booths. In the Democratic Party booth, volunteers were organized to give away packs of condoms for free to college students. Some people attending the fair were unhappy about this.

AIDS statistics in Zambia are staggering:
*There are approximately one million people who are infected with AIDS in Zambia.
*The life expectancy of somebody born in Zambia is under 40, mostly due to the impact AIDS/HIV has had on this society.
*About 57% of those infected with the AIDS virus are women.
*Of these women infected with AIDS, those who are between the ages of 15 and 24 are twice as likely to be infected as men of the same age. Between the ages of 14 and 19, that ratio jumps to six times as likely to be infected as men of the same age.
