    Even though the unnamed Prophet had just delivered a powerful prophecy that was confirmed by miraculous signs, the Lord still punished him for disobedience, even though he was deceived into disobedience.

    Samson could hardly be considered a man of faith, nor a righteous man, nor a humble man, but the Lord was still willing to respond to Samson's last humble request in faith.

    Both Joshua, the newly commissioned leader of Israel, and Rahab, a prostitute of Jericho, exhibited faith at the siege and destruction of Jericho. Each was duly rewarded for their demonstration of faith.

    After 40 years in the land of Midian, Moses was finally ready to begin the ministry that had been previously revealed to him. He had finally gained the necessary humility and patience, and was now able to act in obedience without interference.
