When your dog will go to your backyard door, open directly the door and make sure that the puppy pad is near to the door so that you can move slowly the puppy pad on the ground. If your pet will step on the ground or on the pad, immediately praise him.

If you wish that your puppy will poop outside, bring him and let him sit down in the place where you want to such outside activity in the future. When your puppy practices on staying on the desired place, he loves to stay on that place all the time.
