Keep your cool when bidding and don't get caught up in the emotions of the moment. From the start, determine the absolute highest amount you are willing to pay, and stick to it. Wholesale items might also have higher shipping and handling fees than regular-priced items, so beware of this as well. For instance, an item might cost only a few dollars in the auction, but its shipping might be extremely high for the item's size and weight.
