Home | Computers & Technology | Computer Certification The Server+ certification has one required exam:
CompTIA reports that the Server+ certification is for those who have taken the CompTIA A+ certification exam. This is not a requirement; however it is seen as beneficial because the A+ certification will help prepare students through its technical training. The Server+ certification exam will require students to take an 80 question exam, and they will have 90 minutes to do so. In order to gain a passing score, candidates must score above 615. The Sever+ certification is an opportunity for candidates to prove their proficiency in working with servers and server technology. The training provided through this certification will provide hands on experience for candidates, offering students the ability to solve problems just as they would in the work force. The skills gained through this certification are a true asset to the holder as well as the employer who brings the certified individual aboard. Another benefit to the Sever+ certification course is that it serves the purpose of being a pre-requisite for other certification exams, such as the Microsoft MCSA certification. Microsoft would require that the A+ certification course be taken if it were to count as an elective for the MCSA certification. Earning a Server+ certification is an accomplishment which is recognized throughout the IT industry. If you have taken the time to become Sever+ certified, be sure to update your current resume. The certification will allow future or current employers to see skills which have been carefully developed through the Server+ certification. Article Source: http://www.articlewheel.com
