Home | Reference & Education | Science Yes, it is possible to design a completely water powered car. However, that technology is beyond the basic tinkerer. Relax a minute. You can supplement the gas you use with water. At first I thought this was nonsense. So I delved a little deeper. A water powered car? The concept makes sense and is quite simple. Sepatate hydrogen from water and inject it with gas, then ignite it. I had to purchase 3 books to figure it out. The first two I downloaded were only $49, but I could not follow the instructions. I could not just give up. So I downloaded a third. Bingo! The last book I downloaded cost $97, and I could not have been happier to spend it. I suppose good things are not cheap, and cheap things are not good. The gizmo I built looks simple but it works. I spent under $60 on supplies from Lowes and K-Mart. It took me an evening to build my first device and about 30 minutes to install. My old water powered car device about doubled my fuel mileage. I have doubled my initial investment in a few months. Not only that but I have installed this in 4 friends cars and charged them $200 each. I was surprised to find out that these techniquis was based on patents over 90 years old. The water powered car is not new. Theses inventions were suppressed by someone for so long. I think there are a few reasons. One, we have become spoiled by driving our cars. There used to be a time you had to perform far more maintenance on your cars than now. Secondly, there was nothing to gain from car companies. All of the patents belonged to everyone. Third fuel was cheap. I have always followed alternative energy, and I was tired of paying stupid prices for gas. This is why I refused to surrender after failing twice and spending $100 I didn't have to. Instead I get to save money, save the planet, and save gas simultaneously. Here are some of the things converting your car into a water powered car will do for you. Save 30% to 80% on gas Automobile runs smoother Less smog Lower engine temperature Less wear on valves Longer lifetime of vehicle Power boost of 15%-25% Better for environment There is a draw back to the water powered car though. Your neighbors will make fun of you when they see the gadget you built. So either do not lift your hood or share your your mileage with them. They will want you to make them one too. Trust me. Another drawback is you will have to maintain the system once installed. It will take about 30 minutes a month to clean refill, and put back together. I am sure you, like me, are willing to give a half hour a month to buy gas for $2.00 a gallon again. So there you go, the the pluses and minuses. You do have a choice. One, do nothing. It is easy and everyone you know is doing it. It does not require any effort, and no one will laugh at you. Two, be proactive. Get fed up with fuel costs. Now all excuses have been removed. You can do something. Don't just complain. Do something today to save the environment, money, and gas. Convert your very own water powered car. Article Source: http://www.articlewheel.com
