It is also important to know the time that the visitation will be held. Usually, visitation is held one day before the funeral. In most cases it will be an event which lasts for a few hours.

You will certainly like to plan the funeral such that it will be planned according to the wish of the deceased. Yet the local traditions will also play a very crucial role here. The customs in funeral will be different for an Asian family and a family in the U.S.

The next thing you will need to think about is the burial services. As you may know, you will normally have two choices to this end. These two options are burial and cremation services. Based on the religious belief of the deceased and your local traditions, it will not be too difficult to make the decision. Yet there are also people who decide to have a burial in the sea.

Nowadays, there are people who will pre-plan their funeral before they pass away. It can be a good idea at the end of the day because there will be less stress on the family members when they are working for the actual funeral!
