The Basic reasons may be various. Some generic reasons for a delivery team are the interim calls for meeting and marketing which causes a major deviation. If one is the technical expert or a team leader then it becomes highly pertinent to keep adequate provision for Problem Solving. Rather a further break-ups with an estimate of time duration may be more fruitful in future planning, failing which a continued backlog will be created and some important but NOT Urgent type of work can never be accomplished. A salient example may be like research on new technologies or competitive analysis. Remember, postponemen of such jobs may bring about a business disaster for your organization.
