Addition is the first pillar of arithmetic magic. Armed with the knowledge of the Vedic system as well as my own independently discovered methods, I am placed in a unique position to propagate these methods and to aid children in their efforts to become more efficient and more confident in doing mathematics. Given the difficulties that division presents to children learning their arithmetic basics, it would be both expedient and practical to present an approach which would lead them down this path of reason. For most children, the tedious task of memorizing their number facts evokes long-winded yawns and puts pain-riddled expressions on their cherubic faces. We use the following facts: 10% is 1/10 of a number; 1% is 1/100 of a number (a two decimal shift to the left) or 1/10 of 10%; and 5% is half of 10%. All those are things we parents should teach our children and not leave it to their teachers. Toys and games are terrific Christmas gifts for kids also because they promote sharing while keeping the child entertained and happy. Before choosing any toys or games as Christmas gifts for kids, make sure to read the age recommendations printed on the box or noted in the description. By letting your kids become involved in all the preparations for Christmas they will truly appreciate the spirit of Christmas and love giving gifts as well as receiving them. The first and easiest is monitoring your child's activities by being nearby while they are online. Teach your kids that they must never respond to someone who is trying to bother them online.
