Home | Business | Entrepreneurs One small effort, by itself, will not have much of an impact. Yet, when that same effort is repeated again and again, the results can be truly magnificent. With persistence, soft drops of water can wear away the hardest stone. With persistence a tiny seed can grow into an enormous tree. With persistence-- what seems to be impossible can in fact be accomplished. Persistence has power and with it, setbacks and obstacles can be overcome, one by one, and you will get where you intend to go. Persistence does not require a massive effort, special resources, or exotic skills. To benefit from the power of persistence, all you must do is to keep on going. Persistence is really quite simple, and available to anyone who decides to use it. Choose to put the power of persistence on your side, allow it to “change the course of your life” and you'll bring the very best of your dreams to life. However, sometimes there may be temporary set-backs in your goals such as your exercise program or attempts to lose weight, or your work in your home business. There really is no such thing as failure---ONLY RESULTS. Look at the results you’ve manifested in your life. Use your attention and your will to focus your energy on what you want. Honor your progress--no matter how sporadic. Every small step is moving closer to your goal. Be willing to begin again even if it is just for a few minutes and then, begin again. No matter how many times it takes—DO IT AGAIN. I have my good and my “not-so-good” weeks. I try to work-out 5 days a week, but I don’t always achieve that goal. Many weeks I’m lucky to work out 3 times. Some weeks I have conflicting commitments and may miss an entire week or more. When this happens, I try to honor myself and allow it to just BE – for only a couple of days without judging and condemning myself for getting off task and begin AGAIN! Sometimes it’s healthy to take a break and not workout or work your online turnkey home business for several days. It is important to take time out for rest and recreation. Honoring our time with our families is also very important and should be a priority. However, once we’ve taken some time off to regroup we need to start our work-out and work sessions again which requires self-discipline. If you go longer than 3-4 days without working out, you may find it harder to get restarted again. I try not to go longer than 3 days without a work-out. That being said, I have gone as long as 4 weeks, and then, with a deep breath, a bit of strain, and mustering up every ounce of my inner strength, I begin again. My point in writing this is to remind you that you are not alone! We are all human, and mistakes, breakdowns, and “life will get in the way” of our goals. We don’t need to beat ourselves up when things happen. We can simply, without judgment, begin again, and again and, AGAIN! Whatever we are doing, especially in our home-business as we move toward our goals, we need to look at what we are accomplishing and acknowledge our successes. Persistence and consistence will pay off as long as we never quit! Article Source: http://www.articlewheel.com
