Fear is a common thing. The body feels fear and it triggers a flight response by creating hormones, this will cause the heart and blood pressure to rise. Blood will be rerouted from the stomach and internal organs to the limbs. Senses are higher and respirations increases. Constant fear will prevent a person of doing particular things and it will become a phobia. 2 types of anxiety phobia disorders are social phobias and more specific phobias. Certain life experiences and other biological factors can cause an anxiety phobia disorder. It is about fear of a particular type of activity or event. For instance a person can develop a phobia of blood, flying, heights, germs, bugs, driving or any other situation or event. More then 19 million people suffer from an anxiety phobia disorder. It is interesting to see that this happens twice as much to women. Often it starts in childhood, experiencing a traumatic event or it feels as a traumatic experience. Another anxiety phobia disorder is a social phobia. Social phobias are the result of being in situations that deal with stress and social activities. This is also be known as social anxiety disorder. Social phobias affect over 15 million people. Men and women are affected equally and again start in childhood. Social phobia is about being fearfull of being judged by someone else. Public speaking can can cause social phobia to feel tremors, nauseated, rapid heartbeat and begin to sweat more then normal. An example of an common fear is eating in front of people and fear they will choke or fear they cause a certain embarrassment. Those few who suffer from both specific and social phobias. They will go to great length not being in to certain social situations that will cause anxiety. People suffering from anxiety phobia disorders will not look for help.
