Hemorrhoids Come In Many Different Types There are a few major types of hemorrhoid, and not only are their symptoms very different but the appropriate treatment also is. The first type are external hemorrhoids. These are ones that form on the outside of the anus. This is where an internal hemorrhoid decides to exit the anus and hangs out. Mostly, they can be pushed back into the anus where they came from. Treatment Options for Hemorrhoids Treatment for hemorrhoids is usually ointments and warm baths in the first case. If these fail to give sufficient relief, the hemorrhoid may be removed.
