The location for these scenes was at Torre Etrusca – Villa in Tuscany, where Daniel Craig and Olga Kurylenko arrive in a yacht to meet Renè Mathis (acted for the second time by Giancarlo Giannini). In the sea at Talamone we will also watch the yacht as it escapes, chased by a helicopter. Torre Etrusca, a tower built by the spanish to defend themselves from the marauding saracens, stands on a peninsula close the Maremma nature reserve (Parco Nazionale della Maremma) and has its own private access to the sea.
