Human Growth Hormone- A controversy for the aging!

By: Frank Heinze

We hear about it all the time, the Hollywood A list swear by it, and there is quite a bit of disagreement among scientists as to the benefits and side effects of Human Growth Hormone or HGH. So what is it that drives this controversial debate? The biggest factor seems to be the use of synthetic HGH among professional athletes. Synthetic is the key word here, this is Human Growth Hormone that has been created in a lab and it has been shown to have adverse effects of the long term health of those who abuse it, including cancer. However, with so many people swearing by HGH, there must be something to it right?

Natural HGH Secretions:

After doing much research and seeing the effects on many of my clients, it has become clear that natural supplements which stimulate the production of your body’s natural HGH are very effective. I have witnessed significant muscle gain and weight loss personally. There have been several medical studies over the last twenty years that have shown benefits to those in their later years. One particular study conducted in England in 1990 showed an increase in muscle mass, a loss of unhealthy fat and improved prolonged energy among the study’s participants. Overall, naturally stimulated human HGH improves the quality of life, especially for those getting on in years.

HGH is not just for the elderly, those looking to increase muscle mass and improve recovery time have seen many benefits as well. There is a big difference between natural human growth hormone stimulators and steroids. Steroids have been shown to cause many side effects including decreased sexual drive and cancer. Natural supplements have not been shown to have these effects.

Can HGH help you?

If used properly, those supplements that stimulate production of your body’s natural Human Growth Hormone can be very helpful when used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise. I do not however, advocate the use of any synthetic HGH product and advise my clients to stay away from them.

This is a major controversy and it is not likely to go away anytime soon. Are there legitimate reasons to be concerned about HGH? Absolutely yes! There has been much abuse and misuse of these products. There is no quick fix when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. Nutritional and dietary supplements can surely help, but there are no substitutes for eating a healthy diet and exercising.
