If you come across a man who you are truly interested in, he will find out that you weren't honest with him and lost the chance of progression in the relationship. So, always be honest and truthful. No doubt there is someone out there who will like you…even come to love you…for precisely the person you are. Don’t be too eager. It'll make you appear desperate that really turns off a man. They picture themselves first and foremost as conquerors and if getting the person of their dreams to like them too becomes too easy, they will quickly lose their interest. I don't mean to suggest that you should play “hard-to-get”. What I mean is, don't be in any big hurry for a face-to-face meeting. Don't make the mistake of emailing or IM'ing a man too often.
