Decorating and furnishing the outdoor living spaces Gardens

By: Jessica Thomson

It has been very well said by an author that the gardens helps us to restore the entire five senses of our body and is a place for sentiments. The flowers in the garden are similar to our beautiful thoughts and these thoughts grow with these flowers making the dreams also very beautiful.
Generally decorating the outdoor gardens depends on the space available. These decorated gardens reflect the style and likes of the owner. Having a beautiful green lawn or many green plants is perhaps the most important requirement in any garden. The best way to start decorating the outdoor gardens is to first note the things that are required and the types of weather changes that take place. This will help to decide the materials to be used to decorate the garden. The basic materials like waterproof and sun resistant shelters or umbrellas and furniture can thus be configured. The gardens are usually the areas meant for relaxing, so the decorations made in the gardens should be light and charming. There are certain things which should be kept in mind while decorating the garden.
Privacy: Though outdoor, the gardens require a typical design and structure very similar to the indoor rooms which provide some privacy and comfort. This can be done by attaching fabric panels to the porch overhangs with certain loops for hanging flower pots. Also a wooden fence can be anchored on which beautiful creepers with flowers can be grown. This fence will act as a substitute to the brick walls in the house.
Furnishing: Furnishing these gardens can make them look very elegant and also provide a place to sit and view its beauty. When thought about the garden furniture , the first idea that pops up in our minds is a view of sitting on a chair with a drink and a book, and enjoying the fresh air in the garden. Hammocks tied between two trees are also one of the very common furniture used to decorate the garden. Generally the veranda table and chairs painted with colorful or white sprays are kept in the garden. They are covered properly with outdoor fabrics and pillows to provide proper comfort to the people. These garden tables and chairs should have a good shelter to protect the people from the sun and dirt.
Lights: Proper lighting arrangements should be done for taking the pleasure of the beautiful evenings and the refreshing air during the night. Eco friendly items like candles, oil torches, or the solar panels can be used which would also cut down the increase in the electricity bills.
Other accessories like a beautiful water fountain in the garden, swings and small toys for the children can also be used to make it look more gorgeous.
