The Things We Say and Think Affect Us! The things that we say and think do affect us very much. Our realities begin within our thoughts. As we continue to think and say these things, they manifest themselves within our lives. Our subconscious mind then causes these things to happen. As we say or think certain things, the subconscious mind absorbs it and begins creating the reality through the words and the visions that they create. For instance, if someone worries for 2 weeks over jumping off a diving board, and thinks that he or she is going to fail or become scared up there, chances are it will happen. When you constantly think that something is going to happen or you're going to be scared, you will convince yourself to be scared and you will most likely fail. On the other hand, if that same person had the inner belief that he or she would have a perfect jump coupled with complete and total confidence, the odds increase greatly in favor of he or she making a great jump. This is how our thoughts and our words affect us. It is important to know this if you want all of your dreams and desires to come true. Using This Information to Shape Our Lives! Knowing how your thoughts and words affect your reality, you can use it to your advantage. Think of the things that you want to have and achieve in your life and use your thoughts and words to shape them! For instance, if you are desperate to get that promotion that you've been waiting for, say things that are positive about it. "When I become vice president...," or "I will be getting that promotion very soon." Think positively about it as well. Get the image of yourself sitting in your new position, depositing larger checks, etc. Your thoughts and words are the important tools that will help you accomplish your dreams and desires. Stop the Negative with the Positive! Anytime you begin thinking negative thoughts, immediately and consciously recognize it and replace it with a positive thought. If you are starting to say something negative, recognize it and replace it with a positive thought. Continue to do this until you are completely absorbed in the positive images, thoughts and words. These tools will prove to be helpful to you time and time again. Good luck; you can do it! Article Source: http://www.articlewheel.com
