Home | Business | Network Marketing I have rubbed shoulders with the best in this industry......and without exception; they will tell you that their success is directly related to their personal growth. In fact, I have had one tell me that success in this industry is 20% what you do in your business......and 80% how you grow as a person. Let's look at that statement.......20% what you do in the business and 80% how you grow as a person. What you do in this business would include how you find your prospects, how you market your products, basically the mechanics of building a network marketing business. Do you buy leads, do you use the "three foot rule", and do you focus on your warm market....meet market......cold market? Do you spend 5 hours a month.....5 hours a week......5 hours a day? Do you do shows, booths, or fairs with your products......or do you simply take them to work with you to sell. Some may do more, some may do less......but it is all activity. This activity is generally laid out by whatever company you have chosen......and usually is proven by those who came before you. You may come up with a few new twists......but the concept is still basically the same. How you grow as a person is an entirely different story. That is unique only to you. All of us start from different walks in life.......but we all can reach the same destination......financial freedom! How, you say?????? By personal growth. Here are some examples.......... Let's say you have purchased some leads.......and are now looking at the phone. Do I really have to pick that up and call a stranger.......you ask yourself. Somehow, someway, you dig deep inside and you make that first call......then another......then another......until you are making calls without a thought of being uncomfortable doing it. That.........is personal growth.......every step of that process is personal growth. Let's say you just ran into an old friend........one that you have not seen in years........and she is telling you how miserable she is at work. It's obvious you want to tell her that she has options.....including your business. How you do that will reflect your own personal growth. Will the focus be her.........or your business? Every facet of training you receive in learning and succeeding in your business will result in personal growth. And as you learn and grow........you will be able to teach others......and they will learn and grow. Look at any person who has achieved great wealth in this industry.......and you will find someone who has achieved great personal growth as well. As I said at the beginning......don't let that frighten you......let it encourage you! It means that we ALL can achieve success......we just need to be open to growth........personal growth.
